Ocean & River

Cruises Worldwide

There are cruise ships for small groups of less than 100 passengers and for big groups cruise ships with more than 5000 passengers travel the oceans. There are ocean cruises, however the river cruising is becoming also very popular with more rivers to cruise on. You need an expert to find the best ship for your group and work with you from the start of the request until booking the group.

OCEAN CRUISES

This most common form of cruising spans the gamut of affordable mega-ships, to the most luxurious vessels with beautiful staterooms, butler service, and some of the best dining anywhere. Ocean cruising provides a relaxing vacation at a great value, with a wide array of entertainment and activities, often surpassing those of luxury land resorts. Each cruise line has its own brand personality, expressed through its design, formality of service, focus upon food and wine, level of destination immersion, etc.

RIVER CRUISE

This branch of cruising, inspired by traditional barge cruising, is now one of the most popular types of cruising, particularly in Europe. Travelers explore different regions via river journey, while only having to unpack once.  The ships are much smaller than ocean vessels.  Itineraries tend to include at least one port each day. Your time is mostly spent on culture-rich shore excursions. River cruising does not offer extensive onboard entertainment.

SMALL SHIPS

Smaller ocean vessels, usually carrying less than 300 passengers, allow for a more intimate onboard experience and access to many less-trafficked ports of call.  Offerings range from 5-star luxury ships to ice-breaking expeditionary vessels. Rather than extensive entertainment options, ships offer enrichment-oriented, educational seminars. The smaller environment allows you to more easily acquaint yourself with fellow passengers. Those who are prone to motion sickness should consider the small ship category with care!
