Meet your guide and start your tour with a visit to Ostia Antica - a large archaeological site that was the location of the harbor city of ancient Rome.  At the mouth of the River Tiber, Ostia was Rome's seaport, but due to silting the site now lies two miles from the sea.  The site is noted for the excellent preservation of its ancient buildings, magnificent frescoes and impressive mosaics.  You will then enjoy a panoramic tour of The Eternal City ending at our hotel.  After getting settled in, we will then  meet for dinner. After dinner, we will attend the “What America Means to Me” concert at the Basilica of Saint Lorenzo in Lucina. Like last year, this very patriotic concert is once again endorsed by the American Embassy in Italy; reinforcing the close ties between the United States and Italy. The repertoire will include  “America,” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “God Bless America,”  “Va pensiero Sul ali dorate,” and a special rendition of “Liber Tango” and “Carnevale di Venezia” by Cory Pesaturo - a three time world champion and Guinness World record holder.
